How Important Is HIS NAME?

• Is calling the Messiah by his true name important? Let me start by attempting to put a little perspective on how crucial a name can be. Look at the power the high priests gave implication to His MIGHTY NAME, look what they told Peter...

Act 5:28 Saying, Did not we straitly command you that ye should not teach in this name? and, behold, ye have filled Jerusalem with your doctrine, and intend to bring this man's blood upon us.

Peter was a one man force for the Almighty, just as I am! The high priests were threatened because of THE NAME!... Now let me continue...

• If you have a business, THE NAME is the first image that your business projects. It is what customers will remember...GOOD or BAD...about your business that will either draw them to yours or send them to a competitors business. Assuming your business lasts for many years, you will have invested a lot of time and money building it. Part of the value of your business is the name. If you have branded the name, your brand alone might be worth more than the assets of the business itself. How much are the names: Harley Davidson, Krispy Kreme, or McDonalds worth? If McDonalds decided to change its name to Bo's Burgers, it is obvious that the company would be worth far less than it is now. Why? Because, McDonalds spent a lot of time and money branding their business name on the publics mind. Further, just opening up a McDonalds restaurant guarantees the company a minimum amount of revenue because of its name.

• Having shown you the importance of THE NAME of a mere EARTHLY BUSINESS, how much MORE IMPORTANT would the name of THE SON OF THE ALMIGHTY be in comparison?

• Now before I cut to the chase, let me give you one more example of the importance a name can hold. This example literally could mean LIFE OR DEATH.

If you were sick and had to have a prescription filled... You go to the pharmacist... Suppose the pharmacist misreads the name of your prescription and gives you a medication that you are extremely allergic to... How important is having the CORRECT NAME?... Even though the pharmacist is well educated on all the medications, how would he know that the particular medication that he gave you by mistake is one that could result in dire consequences?... HAVE I MADE IT CLEAR HOW IMPORTANT A NAME IS?

• By the time you are finished reading each of these following scriptures, there should be no doubt as to how important having His TRUE NAME... Yahushua...really is....

• Scriptural Definition of the word "Name": This will prove beyond the shadow of a doubt that the word "Name" not only means "CHARACTER and REPUTATION" but also a literal written and spoken name.
This is the definition of the Hebrew word "SHEM" which is translated as "NAME" all throughout scripture...

Strong's # 8034 Shem; a primitive word [perhaps rather from 7760 through the idea of definite and conspicuous position; compare 8064]; an appellation, AS A MARK or memorial of individuality; by implication honor, authority, character: - + base, [in-] fame[-ous], name[-d], renown, report.

As you can see from the above definition, YAHUWAH'S name not only represents His character but the Name YAHUWAH is also HIS MARK! What is a mark but something that is written? The Name YAHUWAH also is His MEMORIAL OF INDIVIDUALITY. This definition goes hand in hand with scripture:

Exo 3:15 And Elohim said moreover unto Moses, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, YHWH Elohim of your fathers, the Elohim of Abraham, the Elohim of Isaac, and the Elohim of Jacob, hath sent me unto you: this is my name for ever, and this is my memorial unto all generations.

Man has set up many memorials for himself such as "The Unknown Soldier" or "The Wall" for instance. Can you imagine the punishment one would recieve if someone had gone up and destroyed one of these memorials? Now if YOU wouldn't desecrate one of man's memorials, then why would you want to desecrate YAHUWAH'S MEMORIAL...His Name!? YOU do not have the right to change His name to whatever YOU want to call Him!!!

YAHUSHUA'S NAME IS SUPREME OVER ALL

Act 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
Php 2:9 Wherefore YHWH also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:
Php 2:10 That At the name of Yahushua every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;
Php 2:11 And that every tongue should confess that Yahushua the Messiah is Master, to the glory of YHWH the Father.
Heb 1:4 Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.

THE HOLY SPIRIT IS SENT IN YAHUSHUA'S NAME

Joh 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

TRUE BELIEVERS CALL ON HIS NAME

Act 9:14 And here he hath authority from the chief priests to bind all that call on thy name.
Act 9:16 For I will shew him how great things he must suffer for my name's sake.
Act 9:21 But all that heard him were amazed, and said; Is not this he that destroyed them which called on this name in Jerusalem, and came hither for that intent, that he might bring them bound unto the chief priests?
Act 22:16 And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of YHWH.
1Co 1:2 Unto the assembly of YHWH which is at Corinth, to them that are set apart in the Messiah Yahushua, called to be saints, with all that in every place call upon the name of Yahushua the Messiah our Master, both theirs and ours:

TRUE BELIEVERS CALL ON HIS NAME FOR SALVATION

Act 2:21 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of YHWH shall be saved.

TRUE BELIEVERS ARE ANOINTED IN HIS NAME

Jas 5:14 Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the assembly; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of YHWH:

TRUE BELIEVERS ARE BAPTIZED IN HIS NAME

Act 2:38 Then Kepha said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Yahushua the Messiah for the forgiveness of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
Act 8:16 For as yet he was fallen upon none of them: only they were baptized in the name of the Saviour Yahushua.
Act 10:48 And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of Yahushua. Then prayed they him to tarry certain days.
Act 19:5 When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Saviour Yahushua.

TRUE BELIEVERS ARE FORGIVEN IN HIS NAME

Luk 24:47 And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.
Act 10:43 To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins.
Act 22:16 And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of YHWH.
1Jn 2:12 I write unto you, little children, because your sins are forgiven you for his name's sake.

TRUE BELIEVERS ARE JUSTIFIED IN HIS NAME

1Co 6:11 And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are set apart, but ye are justified in the name of the Master Yahushua, and by the Spirit of our Elohim.

TRUE BELIEVERS ARE PROTECTED BY HIS NAME

Joh 17:11 And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name which thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are.
Joh 17:12 While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name which thou gavest me, and I have kept them, and not one of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled.

TRUE BELIEVERS ASSEMBLE IN HIS NAME

Mat 18:20 For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.
1Co 5:4 In the name of our Master Yahushua the Messiah, when ye are gathered together, and my spirit, with the power of our Master Yahushua the Messiah,

TRUE BELIEVERS BEAR HIS NAME

Act 9:15 But Yahushua said unto him, Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel:

TRUE BELIEVERS BELIEVE IN HIS NAME

Joh 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of YHWH, even to them that believe on his name:
Joh 3:18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of YHWH.

TRUE BELIEVERS COMMAND AND MAKE APPEALS IN HIS NAME

1Co 1:10 Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Master Yahushua the Messiah, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.
2Th 3:6 Now we command you, brethren, in the name of our Master Yahushua the Messiah, that ye withdraw yourselves from every brother that walketh disorderly, and not after the tradition which he received of us.

TRUE BELIEVERS DO EVERYTHING IN HIS NAME

Col 3:17 And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Master Yahushua, giving thanks to YHWH the Father by him.

TRUE BELIEVERS DO MIRACLES AND HEAL IN HIS NAME

Act 3:6 Then Kepha said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Yahushua the Messiah of Nazareth rise up and walk.
Act 3:16 And his name through faith in his name hath made this man strong, whom ye see and know: yea, the faith which is by him hath given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.
Act 4:10 Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Yahushua the Messiah of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom YHWH raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole.

TRUE BELIEVERS DRIVE OUT DEMONS IN HIS NAME

Mar 9:38 And John answered him, saying, Rabbi, we saw one casting out devils in thy name, and he followeth not us: and we forbad him, because he followeth not us.
Luk 10:17 And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Rabbi, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name.
Act 16:18 And this did she many days. But Paul, being grieved, turned and said to the spirit, I command thee in the name of Yahushua the Messiah to come out of her. And he came out the same hour.

TRUE BELIEVERS GIVE THANKS IN HIS NAME

Eph 5:20 Giving thanks always for all things unto YHWH the Father in the name of our Master Yahushua the Messiah;

TRUE BELIEVERS HONOR HIS NAME

2Th 1:12 That the name of our Master Yahushua the Messiah may be glorified in you, and ye in him, according to the favour of our Elohim and the Master Yahushua the Messiah.

TRUE BELIEVERS HAVE LIFE IN HIS NAME

Joh 20:31 But these are written, that ye might believe that Yahushua is the Messiah, the Son of YHWH; and that believing ye might have life through his name.

TRUE BELIEVERS MAKE REQUESTS IN HIS NAME

Joh 14:13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
Joh 16:23 And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you.
Joh 16:24 Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.
Joh 16:25 These things have I spoken unto you in proverbs: but the time cometh, when I shall no more speak unto you in proverbs, but I shall shew you plainly of the Father.
Joh 16:26 At that day ye shall ask in my name: and I say not unto you, that I will pray the Father for you:
Joh 16:27 For the Father himself loveth you, because ye have loved me, and have believed that I came out from Elohim.

TRUE BELIEVERS SPEAK, PREACH AND TEACH IN HIS NAME

Act 4:17 But that it spread no further among the people, let us straitly threaten them, that they speak henceforth to no man in this name.
Act 4:18 And they called them, and commanded them not to speak at all nor teach in the name of Yahushua. Act 4:19 But Kepha and John answered and said unto them, Whether it be right in the sight of Elohim to hearken unto you more than unto YHWH, judge ye.
Act 5:27 And when they had brought them, they set them before the council: and the high priest asked them,
Act 5:28 Saying, Did not we straitly command you that ye should not teach in this name? and, behold, ye have filled Jerusalem with your doctrine, and intend to bring this man's blood upon us.
Act 5:40 And to him they agreed: and when they had called the apostles, and beaten them, they commanded that they should not speak in the name of Yahushua, and let them go.

Act 8:12 But when they believed Philip preaching the things concerning the kingdom of YHWH, and the name of Yahushua the Messiah, they were baptized, both men and women.
Act 9:27 But Barnabas took him, and brought him to the apostles, and declared unto them how he had seen Yahushua in the way, and that he had spoken to him, and how he had preached boldly at Damascus in the name of Yahushua.
Act 9:28 And he was with them coming in and going out at Jerusalem.

TRUE BELIEVERS SUFFER FOR HIS NAME

Luk 21:12 But before all these, they shall lay their hands on you, and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues, and into prisons, being brought before kings and rulers for my name's sake.
Joh 15:20 Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his master. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also.
Joh 15:21 But all these things will they do unto you for my name's sake, because they know not him that sent me.

Rev 2:3 And hast borne, and hast patience, and for my name's sake hast laboured, and hast not fainted.

• I have tried to leave no stone unturned... Is there any doubt as to the importance of His NAME? IT'S TIME TO REPENT OF THESE WRONG WAYS OF WORSHIPPING OUR CREATOR AND TO RETURN TO THE TRUE UNDERSTANDING OF OUR BIBLICAL FATHERS, Abraham and Isaac and Jacob!!! LET'S START CALLING UPON THE SAVIOR OF THE WORLD BY HIS REAL NAME... YAHUSHUA!!!
